Recently the International congress Labquality Days was held in Helsinki with the theme “Optimizing quality and use of lab results”. Hemcheck was of course represented at the event.
On February 6-7th Labquality Days, the international congress on quality in laboratory medicine, was held at Messukeskus Expo and Convention Center In Helsinki. LabQuality Days is one of the largest annual international congresses in Scandinavia focused on Laboratory Medicine. With an international scientific program in connection with a large number of exhibiting companies active within clinical laboratory and healthcare technology field, almost 900 visitors gathered to attend this year’s event.
The theme for the 2020 congress was “Optimizing the quality and use of laboratory results” and Hemcheck was of course participating as an exhibitor to tell more about how our service works and how it can contribute. Hemcheck was represented by Peter Andersson, Sales & Marketing Manager, and Joen Averstad, CEO.
– There was a lot of visitors interested in Hemcheck’s services. We had several rewarding and constructive conversations with potential customers and gained new interesting contacts mainly in the Finnish market, but also in the other Nordic countries and Europe. We will now follow-up our new contacts to arrange meetings with potential customers both on our own but also together with our recently established partner Siemens Healthineers, says Peter.
In addition to the opportunity to visit the 60 exhibitors, the conference also included several lectures. Except for the keynote speakers Greg Miller and Holly Witteman, there were also renowned international lecturers such as Maurice O’Kane, Eva Ajsner, Michel Langlois and Ola Hammarsten.
– There were several interesting lectures on topics such as “Harmonization of medical laboratory practices” and “Quality assurance of new measurement technologies”, adds Peter.
